University Operating Fund Reserve Policy

Effective October 1, 2015, the Integrated CSU Administrative Manual (ICSUAM Section 2001.00) formalized and established a systemwide policy on the creation and use of reserve balances. To further define the CSU Reserve Policy, Sonoma State has established the University Operating Fund Reserve Policy to guide University Operating Fund reserve planning efforts.

University Budget Oversight Policy

On March 8, 2019, the University implemented the University Budget Oversight Policy, as recommended by the President’s Budget Advisory Committee. The University is committed to effective resource management and accountability; ongoing budget oversight ensures that resources and expenditures are occurring in general conformity with the budget plan.
